The game doesn’t really have any objective, allowing players to do anything that they want, a lot like ROBLOX but with better graphics. You can create a wide variety of objects, weld them together to create new elements, spawn characters on said elements, and enjoy the stupidity that ensues.

The game has a huge community that keeps on adding new content that you can visit if you’re not much of a builder yourself. Garry’s Mod used to run on a modified engine by Garry Newman, but it was later made as a standalone Steam game in November 2006.

Others were at least originally drawn to Roblox for its bright retro style that recalls one of late 8-bit or new 16-bit software. Dig-N-Rig entreats this same sort of feeling artistic-ally, but it goes even farther back in time with its blocky, crude, visuals that resemble early 80s PC Softwares.

If you cut Roblox down deep, you’ll get something like Block N Load. It’s a better-designed, cleaner version of Roblox. Block N Load is a team-based first-person shooter set in a voxel-based environment. You get to set up a base before the game begins setting traps, building cover and creating favorable opportunities that will allow you to win the game.

There are tons of people playing it and here and this would be where I’d start if I was searching for a Roblox replacer. The game is completely free-to-play and available to download on Steam.

9. Trove

Trove is a perfect mixture of sandbox games with the MMO arena, and it lets the players have an adventure in its large universe. This allows players to enter various worlds through the HUB area and enjoy the several dungeons, get loot, and build their own place known as ‘cornerstone.’ 

The game offers players with different classes & skills to choose from and the characters get abilities based on the selected classes. Along with creative, adventures and multiplayer gameplay, the game also offers a huge variety of customizable elements to the players, so that they can keep changing the look of their in-game avatars.

10. Boundless

Boundless is a unique concept that takes the idea of building your own community. You spawn in a world that can be changed and altered at your will, with plenty of activities to discover. The game takes more inspiration from Minecraft than Roblox, but the idea is to generate tons of worlds to explore.

The most recent update for the game is the Harvest Era update. The update adds farming organic, inorganic, and goo crops in the game. Various new crops have been added to the game for harvesting, including decorative crops.
