Strategy games have their own a major spot in the gaming scenario due to their addictive energy and creative gameplay format. Mount and Blade is one before-mentioned game that endures blending strategy titles with open-world titles and this has attracted a lot of gamers worldwide.
Mount & Blade is a famous medieval franchise with various titles in the franchise. The games are mainly focused on a single-player adventure that drives players by an epic medieval adventure to succeed land through tactics and on the ground battle.
The Mount & Blade games are all a sandboxed adventure that provides players the choice to travel and perform as they want within the game world. With minimum or no story factors, players can pick the character that they want to pretend, be it a soldier for hire, an outlaw, or siding with one of the possible factions.
Players travel and explore the game environment on the map screen which does point and click factors. Once players confront an enemy though the game changes to the battleground, allowing players to engage in the battle and instantly influence the result.
So, Today we are seeking at some of the titles that share comparable gameplay arrangement with ‘Mount and Blade’, but also endure to include new mechanics in the blend. Here is the lineup of games related to ‘Mount and Blade’ that are my suggestions.

10 . Red Dead Redemption
The Red Dead Redemption (RDR) is close to perfect in every aspect. Red Dead Redemption is one of the fewer games who put you in the sets of Wild West. Red Dead Redemption is Developed by Rockstar, the God of Realistic Open-World Gaming Sector, so it’s obvious that RDR is also an Open World Game. Red Dead Redemption is every kid’s dream come true, the game allows you to do anything you can think of doing as a badass Cowboy in the Open world of Wild West. The game is developed by Rockstar Games so there’s no point in asking how the story is, everyone knows it’s gotta be awesome and indeed it is. The Red Dead Redemption lets players experience the most thrilling tales in the game. You can find poppy characters like Robbers, Mexican Revolutionaries, and Snake-Oil Sellers all around the map. You can live a real cowboy life in the game with those classic Bar fights, or Shootouts in front of a Salon or just ride your horse in sandy deserts while the sun sets behind. The game delivers an experience which no game can.
9 . Assassins Creed: Black Flag
One of my Favourite games, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag which was released in 2013 by Ubisoft. The game is a totally Insane, the game allows players to parkour all around the towns, find treasures, fight with the enemies, jump off the roof, and a lot more. The game simply gave players the freedom of movement and stealth which attracted a huge player base to the game. Black Flag has a great storyline that is filled with action, thrill, stealth, Intense Battles, and light humor. It came in with everything you can imagine, Boats, Ships, Hunting, the ocean, parkour, shooting, and a lot more. And the best part is the Dynamic combat Mechanics which is just awesome. The character has some Jaw-Dropping moves which shed the Enemy’s blood without any effort! The Assassin’s Creed Black Flag has a lot to deliver, do try it once!
8 . Conqueror A.D. 1086
‘Conqueror A.D. 1086’ is an ancient strategy game designed by Software Sorcery and distributed by Sierra On-Line for PC and MS-DOS platforms in 1995. The title is one of the eldest in its type and offered a bunch of gameplay mechanics that have grown a staple over the ages. As you begin playing by the game, it becomes obvious to you that ‘Mount and Blade’ have surely drawn sways from it. You start off as a young guy in England who is intended to be the greatest fighter and conqueror of his era, but before you can set off on that trip, you’ll have to determine how to use a sword and sway it in warfare. At the age of 18, you are granted a fiefdom and a pitiful piece of land.
The central aim of the game is to move to the various places in the game and conquer them over, either by conquest or by other medians with the overall purpose being to take down the leader. Nevertheless, you want to accomplish this within the age of 30, at which spot the game ends. There is an alternative win condition in the game, just, in fact, you do not want to be a rebel to your people and that is to murder a huge black dragon! Yeah, take down the ruler or butcher a dragon! If you ask me, I’d go for the ruler each and every time. Anyhow, the gameplay mechs are surprisingly difficult for a strategy game of its era and hence I highly recommend it to you if you loved playing through ‘Mount and Blade’.
7 . Assassin’s Creed: Origins
Rise into the Animus and seek the minds of the ancient dead in quest of an Egyptian artifact forgotten to time. As Bayek, one of the creators of The Order, you are originated on a journey of deception and vengeance as you infiltrate, question, and assassinate all in the sign of the common good.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is an action game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and distributed by Ubisoft. It is the 10th major sequel in the Assassin’s Creed franchise and the successor to Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. It was published worldwide for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2017.
Origins surprise with dozens of play-hours of gorgeously rendered design and a variety of treacherous mountainscapes, low rolling stretches of open sand, and mounting monuments to ancient gods. Free-roam gameplay and open-ended journeys allow you to freely explore without the distraction of annoying collectibles and petty quick-events.
Origins present a stockpile of weaponry and shield which may be improved. From brutal two-handed mace weaponry, multi-arrow shooting bows, to the tried and true secret blade, Bayek includes the daunting anxiety that the presence of an assassin shall bring.
6 . The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
As one of the best fiction fantasy RPGs in recent thought, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a complete must. In the shoes of ghoul-slayer Geralt of Rivia, you are tasked with finding Ciri who appears to be the successor to the Cintra throne. In the race to find her before the Wild Hunt, you’ll be forced into monster combats, political unrest, and so much more. Like Skyrim, you can choose how you play out your adventure in the rich world with narrative quests and areas to explore.
The scope and depth of Witcher 3 make for one hell-a experience, with fantastical monster battles and gorgeous vistas to soak up. Seriously, there’s so much more to discover, you can easily wind up playing for hours exploring the vast environment without the main story-line. There are endless hours of adventuring to be had.
5 . The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
When it comes to the open-world of RPGs, nothing can quite beat the blockbuster that is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The supremacy of its frozen fantasy world stole everyone’s heart when it launched nearly 10 years ago, and many of us are still playing it. This is due to Skyrim seasoning beautifully over time – despite its age, the RPG can still get you on an unforgettable adventure.
Being the Dragonborn who can slaughter big dragons in the sky with a mighty destruction spell, or that awestruck-ing Daedric mace with glowing red eyes you gained during that one quest, it calls for a need for more. Returning to those admittedly growing graphics is made easier with new High Definition textures while more new quests can be added to the game by installing fan-made extensions. And if you’re wanting for something a little crazier there’s plenty to keep you occupied
4 . Middle-Earth: Shadow of War
‘Middle-Earth: Shadow of War’ is the progression to the massively popular action role-playing game (RPG) ‘Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor’, which is set on ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and ‘The Hobbit’ Series. It received mostly positive reviews from experts and gamers the same as most leading their applause at the gameplay mechanics and the revised nemesis system.
However, the game was troubled with microtransactions from the start, which turned off a lot of gamers. Fearing that the game will be totally discarded, Warner Bros. Interactive, the publishers of the game, lifted all in-game transactions in July 2018. This move was hugged by gamers, and a wave of popularity was seen in terms of overall traffic. The main fantasy environment of the game is what will attract a lot of ‘Mount and Blade’ fans, and if you haven’t had a chance to get into this famous universe yet, there will be no bigger opportunity.
3 . For Honor
This game is set in the Fantasy Medieval world which has some high intense action and realistic fights to offer. For Honor has some high-level graphics with realistic gameplay which makes the fights feel real. Players can pick characters from three categories, Vikings, Samurai & knights with multiple characters to choose from in each category as all the characters have different weapons, stamina, resistance, skills, and damage.
The game has to offer some Sweat-Dripping fights where they have to carefully strategize each movement and anticipate their opponent’s move to be the winning one! The game has 6 Game modes with One-v-One Duel battel is the best to go through once. The game has an intense storyline where players can practice their movements and learn about each character as each character has a different skill set, Movement, and Weapons.
2 . Sid Meier’s Pirates
Sid Meier’s Pirates! is a massive action-adventure strategy game designed by Sid Meier and developed by MicroProse In 1987. I know You might be wondering why a 30 Years Old game is on this list, simply note that its addition is no mistake. If you haven’t played this title yet, you are blowing out on one of the best video games of all era.
Sid Meier’s Pirates! was so advanced of its time. It changed the gaming industry and worked as an inspiration for coming games such as Railroad, Civilization, Tycoon, and The Sims. It is placed in an open world and emphasizes open-ended gameplay. There is a category of activities you may choose to join in, including combating enemy ships, protecting family members, and building your wealth through trade. The game ends when you opt to retire, at which time you are given a position, varying from Beggar to King’s Adviser, depending on your achievements in the game.
Since it was such a big hit, several remakes have been created since. You can now play the primary entry of the game on all major gaming consoles!
1 . Kingdom Come: Deliverance
An action-RPG designed by Warhorse Studios, this game is easily one of the most hyped games to come to the style since it was declared. Fans hopped on this game dreaming over its skill-based fight and open-world beauty as well as its traditional narrative and immersive story-line.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance shoots you into the world as a metalworker’s son, Henry, through a war in Bohemia in 1403. It is performed from the first-person and combines RPG and survival factors including staving off hunger, getting adequate sleep, and bathing, and grooming. The end does not seem so necessary until you find that your silvery appearance and blood-spattered tools distress people and some will refuse to talk to you.
An extensive skill set lets the player to improve their character it a few of different levels and hybrids using alchemical theory, book-smarts, or further training as a swordsman. Fight, animations, and hassle grab you and bring energy to the game making your feel helpless but powerful all in a few situations.
The story of this game is enticing and will bring you to grasp it all the way into, though, I urge you to take a while and travel the land for what it is. The atmosphere is extremely dense, not unusually large, letting you find an experience waiting in every town or campground that you fall upon. Every ounce of this title tells a short story from the dirt on the poorly equip Runner taking you a message to the primary opulence of the leaders of the land.
I hope you loved the list of Top 10 Games Like Mount and Blade You Must Try in 2020. The games are purely ranked as per my experience which may vary from players to players.
