Being a Superhero Games Fan, We have created a list of 10 Best Superhero Games to play:

10. Justice League Task Force

  • Released 1995
  • Platform: Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis

Justice League Task Force

Before the Justice League’s experiences in the Injustice series, DC’s most famous superheroes had a shot for the fighting game genre with the Justice League Task Force, published for the Sega Genesis and SNES  in 1995. Most fans remember this game for the extremely difficult special moves and its eccentric storyline, which was a consequence of the console limitations of the time.

It’s odd how there were six League members to play with, while only three villains to fight with. This led to the storyline where a player would fight against other Leaguers, who were unveiled to be android clones, before facing the bad guys at the end. God bless the 1990s and all the era’s weirdness!

9. The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

  • Released 2005
  • Platform:  PS2, Xbox, Game Cube

The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

The Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction is a perfect combination of Grand Theft Auto and Rampage, you get the open-world map like GTA where you can break stuff without caring about anyone as you’re the Hulk! The game has a slightly interesting storyline but when you get to roam around & break stuff, who the hell gives a crap about the story? I’m a little ashamed of saying this but I myself completed the game by skipping all the cutscenes, I mean who wants to see pixelated animated videos about Bruce Banner when you have a lot to break, right? The game is fun to play, filled with action and destruction! The Hulk fan? You know what to do.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters

Well, If you think about it, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the perfect candidate for fighting games. I mean seriously, all they do is kick the shit out of Foot Clan, Bebop, Rocksteady, and the Shredder, then why shouldn’t a tournament-style title be an option for them?

Released in 1993 for NES, SNES and Sega Genesis, every version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters featured its own list of characters from its comic book series published by Archie Comics at the time. It might not be as memorable as the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game, it brought something new to the turtles’ adventures in the video game area.

The game which totally changed the Superhero games market, and bought in a huge horde of Batman Fans into gaming! Arkham Asylum is a perfect example of how to make a great comic book game. I honestly wanted to bring Arkham Asylum higher on the list but the game above is just mind-blowing!

It was the first time in years when the roles of Batman, the Joker, and Harley Quinn were played by Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamil, and Arleen Sorkin. The Game looks, the story, the Action, the Modern City Architecture, the game mechanics, the character models, and the Dynamic & Stealthy Combat came in all together for making the Arkham Asylum a true Masterpiece which should be preserved in a museum! This game started a legacy that no other game ever reached!
